During his four year 31 start racing career CHRISTIAN CULLEN thrilled the racegoers on both sides of the Tasman with 22 wins and establishing a 1:54.1 mile rate. Many described CHRISTIAN CULLEN as the "perfect" racehorse with his conformation, gait and will-to-win being exceptional. There is no better demonstration of these attributes than his performance in winning the 1998 Miracle Mile at Harold Park.
It is a real achievment for a horse to win a Group Race but CHRISTIAN CULLEN's 22 wins included 7 Group One and 7 Group Two victories. In one memorable two month period as a four year old he won the NZ Cup and Free-For-All at Addington, the Miracle Mile at Harold Park, the Treuer Memorial at Bankstown and the Auckland Cup at Alexandra Park. All of these are classified as Group One races.
